The House of Horrors is now in its 11th year, has become a major Halloween attraction in Ireland and has set the standards for others to follow. From 180 visitors in 2009, the event has grown to such an extent that over 23,000 visitors have enjoyed the House of Horrors experience. The House of Horrors has developed a reputation as a professionally run, value for money Halloween attraction suitable for all ages with young people as the driving force.
The House of Horrors has featured on R.T.E. Six One News, Nationwide and Ireland A.M. (TV3). Radio stations including W.L.R fm, BEAT fm, K.C.L.R and Southeast radio have promoted the event through radio promotions, adverts & news items. Local print media plus others in Wexford & Kilkenny have promoted through photographs, press releases & adverts. Other forms of advertising include full colour flyers (10,000), road & event signage, posters and a massive sharing through social media.
The estimated local, regional & national exposure / reach in 2016 alone was estimated at between 750,000 and 1,000,000 individuals.
