• Our New Frontiers pobal-style project is in full swing thanks to the support of a HSE National Lottery Grant. The project includes modules on arts & crafts, personal development, employment services, cooking, science, music and photography, to mention but a few. 
  • We are delighted to have received a capital grant from the Department of Children and Youth Affairs, to be administered by the Waterford and Wexford Education and Training Board. This grant is to be used for refurbishment works in our centre. We are very grateful for the support.

  • Fantastic day at our Junior Team Challenge (Sports Day) last Saturday. Never too young to learn about teamwork and leadership. Thank you to our staff, our volunteers and the parents that supported some 60 young people. Click here for some great photos!

  • Delighted to receive such generous support from the Rotary Club of Waterford towards the cost of the annual Tramore summer holiday for your young members which is staged annually since 1981.The contribution of €1,000 is deeply appreciated.
  • Our 100th Day Challenge took place in the area of the Six Cross Roads Business park and close by housing estates on Saturday June 2nd. Our thanks once again to Gary Crowe of Michael Crowe Furniture Waterford for their continued support. Some 60 members took part in this annual community clean-up event. The day also included a Dog Fouling Awareness in the People's Park and on the Waterford Greenway.
  • Our Pobal Project keeps on giving! Provides huge opportunities for our young people to acquire valuable soft skills and to boost their own self confidence and self-esteem. 
  • Fantastic week for our Easter Camp 2018. Some 44 boys and girls had a great time playing games and enjoying some exciting and interesting activities.
  • Great attendance on Saturday last March 24th, 2018 for our annual Strategic Planning Workshop. We had representatives from our board, staff, volunteers, sponsors, young people and agencies. This annual "think-tank" helps our organisation to look at the year past and to assess the challenges and opportunities for the year ahead. It is a further opportunity for our young people to have their say.
  • Our young members enjoying a great day out at Megabounce, the indoor bouncy castle centre in Co. Kilkenny.  
  • We want to congratulate our awards winners for 2017. These awards are a highlight in the calendar of events and activities we provide for our young members. The winners were; Overall – Catherine Goulding, Older Boy – Tadhg Mitchell, Older Girl  - Sophie Taheny, Younger Boy – Bradley Morrissey, Younger Girl – Chloe Brennan and New Frontiers Member – Darren McGuire. 
  • We are hosting THE BIG QUIZ night on Friday 9th February in St. Anne’s Tennis Club, John’s Hill Waterford. This Quiz Night will be different from most others as not only will it have general knowledge but also categories to include audio and visual with images and sounds on a big screen. There are prizes for 1st 2nd & 3rd with a perpetual trophy for the winners. The night will be topped off with a disco with Mike Kenny playing the best songs from all the decades. The cost is just €20 per team of 4 and individuals can also participate and be facilitated on a team.
